I wish I can also....
Live my dreams!
Why only born of a son is celebrated and most demanding?
Why only girls are trained in the kitchen and household work?
Why only boys are allowed to go out for trips?
Why only girls are expected to be wise and sacrificing?
Why only boys are considered to the ghar ka chirag and take over the business?
Why only girls are asked to leave their parents and family after marriage?
Why only boys are allowed to come late after work and live their dreams?
and this WHY... will go ON and ON....
I want to live my dreams but...
I want to take additional responsibilities but..
I want to grow in my career but...
I want to live with my family too but...
I want to be free with formalities and do what I want to do from my own wish but...
I want Equality but...
Who will look after all these rituals, culture, society, work life balance, household work, kitchen, inlaws, old traditions, family, kids, men chauvinism etc. ?
I wish I can change it and now expect our new generation to do the needful!
After 10 years, when I will read this blog - I should be proud of!
Note: "I have full support from my husband but current society and thought process in general is a big problem for most of the women specially the ones who are living with their inlaws."
